The Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is the inspired Word of God and our authority for our faith, worship, and conduct. 2 Tim 3:16-17
There is one living and true God, revealed in the Bible as a Trinity; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who have the same nature, attributes, and perfection. Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14
God the Father is the Creator of all things. He is the absolute and all-powerful ruler of the universe. Psa 103:19
Jesus was God revealed to us as a man; He is equal with God; conceived by the Holy Spirit; born of the Virgin Mary; His purpose is to reveal God and redeem us. John 10:30; Isa 7:14; Matt 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; Phil 2:5-8
The Holy Spirit is a divine Person who indwells all Christians and is always present to testify of Christ and empower them for service. John 14:6; 1 Cor 12:13
Man was created free of sin with a rational nature and that in Adam’s sin of disobedience to God’s will, sin entered into the world and the result of sin led to death and separation from God. Gen 2:16-17; Rom 5:12
Jesus Christ became the sinner’s substitute and mediator and died as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14
The Lord Jesus Christ rose physically and literally from the dead and ascended in His glorified body to the right hand of God. Mark 16:18; Acts 1:3-9
He will come again to take His people, the church, to be with Himself, and will return with His church in glory to establish His millenial kingdom on earth. 1 Thess 4:14-17; Rev 20
The church is made up of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. He is the church’s Head and its Supreme Authority. All believers live to serve God and know His presence. They can approach God directly through prayer. Acts 2:47; Col 1:18; 1 Pet 2:9; Heb 10:19-22
